What you should know before you go

This section provides answers to the most frequently asked questions.

What should I bring on my trip?

  • Food & drink

  • Soft sole shoes 

  • Small cooler (optional)

  • Rain gear (as needed)

  • Weather appropriate clothing

  • Keep in mind the length of the trip, do not bring too much stuff!

What is prohibited on my trip?

  • Liquor (beer/wine/mixed drinks are okay)

  • Firearms

  • Drugs

  • Spray sunscreen (repels fish, makes the boat slippery, stains the boat)

When should I arrive for my trip?

Please arrive within 30 minutes of your trip and be ready to board 10 minutes prior, so we may give you the full experience.

When does the trip start?

The trip time will start at the scheduled time, whether you are there or not. Extensions are $150 for each additional hour post booked time (if available).

What if bad weather is expected on the day of my trip?

The Captain will evaluate the safety conditions and will determine if the trip will start as far in advance as possible (please let the captain know if you are traveling from afar).

​My trip got canceled due to bad weather, what are my options?

If the trip is called off by the Captain due to bad weather/unsafe conditions, you have two options:

  1. Receive full refund of the amount paid

  2. Reschedule the trip to the next available time on a different date

My trip got canceled mid trip due to bad weather/unsafe conditions, what can I expect?

The trip cost will be prorated as follows: $450 base charge + $150/hour for each additional hour after the first two hours of the trip.

​My trip got terminated after the start of the trip due to misconduct (e.g., drunken disorderly, illegal substances, firearms onboard, violent behavior, failure to follow Captain’s instructions, etc.,), what can I expect?

You forfeit your right for reimbursement, you will be charged the full cost of the trip.

​During my trip me and/or my party caused damage to the boat/equipment (i.e., lost rods, physical damage to the boat, etc.,) what is my liability?

You are responsible for any damaged/loss caused by you or your party and your credit card on file will be charged accordingly.
